Moreland City FC is pleased to announce another high-quality appointment to join its Football Development program. Kieran McDowell, a former MCSC player and coach, is coming home as the club’s Technical Director and Goalkeeping coach. Kieran has an AFC B Licence , a Level 1 AFC Goalkeeping Coach accreditation and is a VIT Registered Teacher.
Kieran will be working closely with Head of Football Development, Colin Cooper, focusing on FA Technical reports, FFA curriculum, support for coaches, player selection, Goalkeeping development and supporting the Head of Football role.

What made it easier was everything going on behind the scenes and the opportunity to work with like-minded people. Being a position I have held in the past, I am keen to use my knowledge of the club and FFA's footballing strategy to offer support to Coops and the club’s junior coaches, giving them assistance in implementing our system."
As part of the Moreland City FC development program, the club is now accredited to run the Skills Acquisition Program (SAP) which focus on the Skill Acquisition Phase, the key building block in the Football Federation Australia (FFA) National Football Curriculum.
