Training & Facilities
Moreland City FC home grounds are Campbell Reserve and Clifton Park Reserve training grounds.
Training is proposed to run from 5:30PM–7:00PM on Wednesdays & Fridays.
Players are encouraged to attend both sessions.
The facilities have dedicated Unisex change rooms and showers. The club recently was awarded a grant to upgrade and refurbish the female toilets.
The training program focuses on developing skills and game knowledge to help build individual confidence and ability in a supportive and friendly environment.
Junior coaching is structured around FFA’s National Curriculum:
Matches are played on Sunday mornings from April to August/September. Home games are played at Campbell Reserve and away games are played in Melbourne’s northern and western suburbs.
The juniors coaching team is led by Janusz who is a former senior player and licenced coach.
In 2020, we welcome new volunteers to join our coaching staff as coaches or assistant coaches. The Technical Director will prepare training programs; the club pays for coaching courses. All coaches are fully supported by our dedicated coaching team – if you are interested please get in touch.
All juniors coaches have Working With Children and police checks, and are bound by our club’s child safe policies and procedures.

Soccer Mums started at AUSC in 2019 and was immensely popular with our Mums. Initially run by VicHealth but now managed by Football Victoria and their GO platform, we are preparing to deliver more exciting sessions for mums and other social soccer players once lockdown restrictions are lifted. It is an introductory soccer program designed specifically for women, where you have fun, meet new people and learn basic football skills without knowing it; no experience necessary, no pressure and no judgement.
GO Girls is a new social, non-competitive football program for 12-14 year old girls.
It's designed for girls to experience, learn and practice football in an inclusive, fun, all-girl environment.
No experience is necessary - this social format of the game can be played by girls with all levels of experience and all levels of fitness. It's unlike any other form of football - with music playing, a lot of laughs and zero pressure.
While players will certainly learn some new skills, this is much more flexible and less structured football. The emphasis is on fun, social interactions and enjoyment rather than performance, results and competition.
